​Blackened Salmon Recipe
 
2 lbs                Salmon
½ Cup             Butter
1 Tbsp             Olive Oil
1 Tbsp             Brown Sugar
2 Tbsps           Paprika
1 Tbsp             Cayenne Pepper
1 Tbsp             Onion Powder
½ tsp               Black Pepper
½ tsp               White Pepper
¼ tsp               Oregano
¼ tsp               Dried Basil
¼ tsp               Dried Thyme
2 tsps               Salt
 
In a small bowl combine the paprika, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, basil,thyme, oregano, white pepper, black pepper and salt. Generously coat both sides of your steaks with melted butter then the spice mixture. In a frying pan add the remaining butter and the olive oil.  Cook the steaks on both sides for 4 minutes each then they are ready to serve.
