Cabbage

1               Head Cabbage      
1               Onion                    
1               Red Bell Pepper
2               Carrots
7 Slices    Bacon
1/3 cup    Olive Oil
1 Tbsp      Minced Garlic
1 tsp         Onion Powder
1 tsp         Garlic Powder
1 tsp         Black Pepper
2 tsp         Salt
2 cups      Water
 

Chop the cabbage and set aside.  Chop the bacon and cook on medium high heat for 5 minutes.  Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside. In another pan sauté the onion, carrots and red pepper in the olive oil for five minutes.  Add the cabbage and continue to cook until the cabbage has reduced.  Add the 2 cups of water then cover and allow it to cook for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes add the minced garlic, bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
Stir then cover and allow to cook for another 15 minutes.   ​
