​Chicken Chow Mein Recipe
 
6 oz                 Chow Mein
¼ tsp               Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp             Soy Sauce
1 tsp                Cornstarch
1 lb                  Chicken Breast
2 Tbsps           Oyster Sauce
¾ Cup             Chicken Broth
1 tsp                Sugar
2 Tbsps           Canola Oil
2 cloves           Garlic
1 Cup              Bok Choy
½                     Zucchini
1                      Carrot
1 Cup              Sugar Snap Peas
1                      Green Onion
½ tsp               Salt
½ tsp               White Pepper
 
Whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, cornstarch and salt. Coat the chicken with the mixture and refrigerate for 20 minutes. In a separate bowl, combine the chicken broth, sugar and oyster sauce. Mix well and set it aside until later. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the chow mein noodles for four minutes. After four minutes drain off the water then rinse the noodles with cold water then set them aside. Add the canola oil to a wok and bring to medium heat. Cook the chicken for 6 minutes then remove the chicken from the wok. Sauté the garlic, zucchini, carrots, sugar snap peas and bok choy for three minutes. Now add the green onions and continue to cook for 5 minutes.  Return the chicken to the pan then add the noodles and sauce and continue cooking for another three minutes then it is ready to serve.
