Easy Banana Cream Pie Recipe
3 Bananas
2 ½ Cups Milk
1 Cup Sugar
¼ Cup Cornstarch
2 Tbsps All-purpose Flour
2 Tbsps Butter
3 Egg Yolks
2 tsps Vanilla Extract
¼ tsp Salt
Pie Crust
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Using a fork, poke holes in the bottom of your pie crust then transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes. Once done, remove it from the oven and set it aside until later. Slice the bananas and set them aside until later. Using medium low heat bring a pot to temperature. Add the milk and egg and whisk until well combined. Add the sugar and whisk until it dissolves. Add the flour, salt and cornstarch and continue to whisk until well combined. Add the butter and vanilla and continue to cook stirring frequently until your pudding has reached your desired consistency. Place your pie in the refrigerator for 2 hours then it is ready to serve.
