2 Cups Cornmeal 1 ½ Cups Hot Water 1 tsp Salt 1 Tbsp Sugar Canola Oil (for frying)
In a large bowl combine the cornmeal, salt and sugar. Add the water to a pot then bring to a boil. Remove from the flame then add to the cornmeal mixture and mix until well combined. Using a large spoon form into patties then fry for 4 minutes.
