Jerk Chicken Recipe
2-1/2 lbs Chicken Wings 3 Green Onions ½ Cup Yellow Onion 3 Habanero Peppers 6 Cloves Garlic 2 Tbsps Brown Sugar ¼ Cup White Vinegar ¼ Cup Vegetable Oil ¼ Cup Soy Sauce 1 tsp Ground Allspice ½ tsp Cinnamon ½ tsp Ginger 2 tsps Dried Thyme ½ tsp Nutmeg ½ tsp Ground Cloves ½ tsp Salt ½ tsp Black Pepper In a food processor combine the vinegar, vegetable oil, soy sauce, habanero pepper, garlic, onion, brown sugar, thyme and the remaining spices and blend for one minute. Pour the marinate over the chicken and mix well. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least eight hours. Preheat the grill to high heat and cook the chicken for 15 on each side. |
