Salisbury Steak

1 ½ lbs             Ground Beef
1                      Egg
1 med.             Onion
½  Cup             Bread Crumbs
½ Cup              Beef Broth
1 can               French Onion Soup
1 Cup               Mushrooms
1 Tbsp             All-purpose Flour
1 Tbsp             Ketchup
1 Tbsp             Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp                 Salt
1 tsp                 Pepper
½ tsp                Garlic Salt
½ tsp                Ground Mustard

Add the bread crumbs, egg, salt, pepper, garlic salt and ground mustard to the ground beef and mix well.   Form the ground beef into  oval shaped patties and set aside.  In a separate bowl combine the flour, onion soup, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and beef broth.  Whisk until all of the flour has dissolved.  Cook the ground steaks for 5 minutes then remove them from the pan.  Sauté the onions and mushrooms for 3 minutes.  Pour in the gravy mixture then return the ground steaks to the pan.  Reduce heat to medium low, cover and allow the steaks to cook for 10 minutes on each side.
