Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs Recipe
4 lbs Baby Back Ribs 1 Tbsp Paprika 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar 1 Tbsp Salt 2 tsps Garlic Powder 2 tsps Onion Powder 2 tsps Black Pepper For the BBQ Sauce: ¾ Cups Ketchup ¾ Cups Brown Sugar ¼ Cup Red Wine Vinegar ¼ Cup Water ½ Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce 1 Tbsp Mustard 1 tsp Paprika 1 tsp Hot Sauce 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Black Pepper To make the rub, in a small bowl combine the salt, pepper, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder and paprika. Mix until well combined. Generously coat the ribs with the rub. Place the ribs in the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours. To make the barbecue sauce, using medium heat bring a pan to temperature. Add the water, red wine vinegar, honey, brown sugar, mustard, ketchup Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt, pepper and paprika and continue simmering for another three minutes. After three minutes turn off the heat and set aside. After your ribs are fully cooked removed them from the slow cooker and place on a wire rack. Set your oven to broil. Brush the ribs with the barbecue sauce. Place the ribs in the oven for 4 minutes. After 4 minutes remove from the oven and serve. |
