Smothered Pork Chops Recipe
Canola Oil Pork Chops (thin cut) 1 Cup Onion ½ Cup All-Purpose Flour 2 Eggs ½ Cup Milk 2 Cups Italian Bread Crumbs ¼ Cup White Wine 1- 10oz Cream of Mushroom Soup 1 tsp Paprika 1 tsp Seasoned Salt 1 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Black Pepper 1 tsp Salt In a small bowl combine the paprika, seasoned salt, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix well then divide into two portions. Use one portion to season the pork chops and the other to season the flour. Coat the pork chops with the flour, egg wash, and bread crumbs then place on a wire rack. In a bowl, whisk together the wine, milk and cream of mushroom soup. Fry the pork chops on medium high heat for 4 minutes then remove them from the pan onto a paper towel. Next sauté the onions for 1 minute. Now pour in the gravy. Return the pork chops to the pan and allow them to cook for an additional ten minutes turning and stirring occasionally. |
