​Southern Fried Chicken 
​
1 cup           Self Rising Flour
1-1/2 tsps    Black Pepper
1-1/2 tsps    Salt
1-1/2 tsps    Seasoned Salt
1 tsp            Smoked Paprika
1 tsp            Garlic Salt
                    Canola Oil
                    Chicken
 
Combine the black pepper, salt, seasoned salt, smoked paprika and garlic salt and mix well.   Divide the season mixture into two equal parts and season the chicken with one half and the flour with the other half.  Lightly coat each piece of chicken with the flour.  In a deep fryer or frying pan preheat the oil to 350 degrees.  Add the chicken and fry the chicken.   Cook time for chicken is dependent on the piece and size of the chicken being fried.  Cook time can range from 12 minutes for smaller pieces to 20 minutes for larger pieces.
