Twice Baked Potatoes
5 Russet Potatoes ½ Cup Milk 1 Cup Sour Cream 1- ½ tsps. Salt 1- ½ tsps. Black Pepper 4 Tbsps Butter 1- ½ Cups Medium Cheddar Cheese 6 Green Onions 6 slices Bacon PreHeat Oven to 400 degrees. Bake the potatoes for 1 hour then remove from oven and set aside. Fry the bacon For 5 minutes then remove it from the pan place on a paper towel to drain the excess oil. After the potatoes have cooled cut out an oval section on top of the potatoes and scoop out the insides and place it in a bowl. Melt the butter then add the butter and cheese to the potatoes. In a separate bowl combine the milk, sour cream, salt and pepper. Add in the potatoes. Add the onions and bacon. Stuff the potato skins then transfer to a baking sheet. Top with cheese then transfer to the oven. Bake for 15 minutes. |
